Man killed over ashram bhog row

KATWA: Four persons, including a maharaj of a asharam was arrested on the charges of killing a 46-year-old. The wife of the deceased has lodged a complaint at Katwa police station.
Savhim Makra, SDPO of Katwa said that on Tuesday evening some people were sitting in a local ashram. Suddenly, there was a dispute over bhog distribution and then the primary accused, Buddhadeb Sikdar beat up the victim Satosh Das.Das was rushed to the Katwa hospital but was declared brought dead.
Police have nabbed the baba of the Ashrama, Bhakta Das. The main accused Buddhadeb Sikdar have been absconding since the complaint was lodged.
A case has been lodged under Section 304 of IPC.
